MODELS
PHOTOGRAPHERS
RECRUITERS
OFFICE ASSISTANTS
JOURNALISTS
CITIZENS
models are, obviously, going to be in large numbers, this is a
modeling agency roleplay, so it would be fitting. here at thomas models,
these guys make around 200,000 a year and spend their free
time in leisurely ways (e.g. flying around the world for travel).
thomas models signs both men and women models, so as a
result, please don't make only women or only men - mix it up a
little bit. as well as this small factor, variety is welcome - a model
per se could be only a print model, while another could do runways
or vice versa... or if you're looking for superstar status, you could
always do both.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
without the models the photographers could take pictures
of the landscape, but without the photographers the models
couldn't be editorial superstars.. so where does that leave you?
photographers here are the best of the best, creating dreamy
masterpieces from absolutely nothing or defining the new age
of fashion photography with a click of the shutter and a wee bit
overexposed frame. there won't be as many photographers as
there are models, but there is more variety when it comes to
this membergroup. think of all the jobs with a camera someone
has to do... surely photographer doesn't just cover it.
RECRUITERS
these are the people that scout out the new faces in the industry
off the streets, helping to pick who goes where and which models
would be good for which assignments. they don't do much else in
relation to the building, merely hand out cards and report back to
mr. thomas about it. their numbers will be fewer then the other
membergroups. your character must be able to do a lot of traveling.
OFFICE ASSISTANTS
these are the people who do all the work that no one else has time
to do - people like the secretary and receptionist, personal assistants
and gophers. there won't be as many of these, obviously, because
there aren't that many receptionist positions to be filled, although there
is a front desk on nearly every level. these people also run the copy
machines and work largely on getting pictures where they need to be for
the next vogue issue. occasionally one will be selected to proof read the
journalist's stories.
JOURNALISTS
which brings me to the people who write every little thing that goes
into those magazines. paired mostly with the photographers, these
paps will be large in number and generally quick of wit, especially
considering that's part of their job - creativity. the journalists of
vogue go in and out of warzones to interview women on both sides,
speak with celebrities about their skincare and get made over by
all the popular makeup brand's directors. they truly get one of the
pieces off the top of the cake.
CITIZENS
and then, of course, is just the regular citizens of paris who don't
work for the magazine and don't intend to. there is no cap on these
characters, obviously citizens are allowed to go wherever the hell
they feel like it. these are the people who wait tables and ring you
out at the bistro, the ones who're bank tellers and who have kids.
although it is a huge part of living in paris, not everyone is related
to the agency in some way... and that's where these characters
come in.
